With the CHP unit type GG 430 we have presented our flagship of the 400 kW class with an outstanding electrical efficiency of 39.9 % at Hannover Messe 2019 as the successor of the legendary GG 402 type, of which over 150 units had been installed in most various configurations. It is suitable also for the steam generation or the heating up of thermal oil. Since the first CHP scheme with a GG 430 in the Medius clinic in Kirchheim (article, German) in late 2018 numerous further CHP units of this type have been commissioned.
In the following years this power class was supplemented by the GG 395 with less than 1 MW gas consumption and the newly developed types GG 305 and GG 355. CHP units of the new 400 kW class operate e.g. in the Grand Green Hotel in Oberhof (GG 355), at Sartorius in Goettingen (GG 395) and at Lloyd’s animal feeds mill in Wrexham (UK).
