At the start of the new millenium we have entered the 200 kW class by presenting the world’s most compact CHP unit of the 200 kW class at Hannover Messe and in the theme park energy of the EXPO 2000 world exhibition. Since then, we have strenghtened our market position with continuous innovation and regularly hold one of the leading positions in the natural gas powered CHP unit ranking of this class.
The compact CHP unit GG 237 runs in most different configurations at most various sites: As a biomethane-powered CHP unit at the award-winning SMA Solar Technology plant, as hot cooler at the muicipal BSR (Berlin city cleaning service), as a 2 x GG 237 + 1 x GG 140 plant in the Graeflicher Park Hotel & Spa in Bad Driburg (German article, 2 MB), Parkresidenz Rahlsted (German article, 1.20 MB), as a 3 x GG 237 plant with emergency power function in the luxury hotel Rodina (Sotchi, Russia), as a propane gas powered CHP unit for hospital in Chile and many more. One CHP unit of this class installed with a steam generator at the famous Früh Kölsch Brauerei in Cologne was described as a „CHP unit of the month“ project in the Energie & Management newspaper as well as by the cogeneration campaign of the NRW state’s EnergieAngentur.NRW project example and by the specialist publisher Brauwelt International in the article Tradition gets a boost (3 MB).
The sewage gas CHP unit type FG 250 was installed in the sewage purification plants Herford and Flensburg in 2010 and 2011, both as 2 x FG 250 twin CHP unit plants. Two years after installation, the Flensburg plant has been enlarged by a third FG 250 unit.
