At the start of the new millenium we have entered the 200 kW class by presenting the world’s most compact CHP unit of the 200 kW class at Hannover Messe and in the theme park energy of the EXPO 2000 world exhibition. Since then, we have strenghtened our market position with continuous innovation and regularly hold one of the leading positions in the natural gas powered CHP unit ranking of this class.
Our compact CHP units of the 200 kW class run in most different configurations at most various sites: As a biomethane-powered CHP unit at the award-winning SMA Solar Technology plant, as hot cooler at the muicipal BSR (Berlin city cleaning service), as a 2 x GG 237 + 1 x GG 140 plant in the Graeflicher Park Hotel & Spa in Bad Driburg (German article, 2 MB), as a 3 x GG 237 plant with emergency power function in the luxury hotel Rodina (Sotchi, Russia), as a propane gas powered CHP unit for hospital in Chile as well as sewage gas powered units at the water purification plants in Flensburg (3 x FG 250) and PL-Zywiec (2 x FG 180). One version with steam generation was installed at the famous Früh Kölsch Brauerei in Cologne and described as a „CHP unit of the month“ project in the Energie & Management newspaper as well as by the cogeneration campaign of the NRW state’s EnergieAngentur.NRW project example and by the specialist publisher Brauwelt International in the article Tradition gets a boost (3 MB).
The new CHP unit type GG 260 with 92,5 % total efficiency was presented publicly at the E-world 2019 fair and installed e.g. at the MAN engine factory in Nuermberg, in the Ettlingen swimming pool Albgaubad and the new development Poppenbütteler Berg, about which the operator Hamburg Energie has published a short video.
Natural gas: GG 202, GG 260
Sewage gas: FG 165, FG 206
The compact CHP units of the 200 kW class have all core characteristics of SOKRATHERM cogeneration units:
or short: Compact, efficient and reliable.
