In the current ranking of the CHP unit market in Germany which has been published by the professional paper Energie & Management and the research institute Öko-Institut for many years, SOKRATHERM shows strong sales figures. The ranking comprises all power classes from micro CHP units with a few kilowatt up to large CHP units of the multi-Megawatt class.
With over 21 MW CHP power sold in 2015 we could improve to rank 8 among all producers of natural gas powered CHP units which reported figures. While nearly all established competitors reported decreasing numbers, SOKRATHERM could continue its growth path. Within the medium power range 50 – 550 kW in which we produce CHP units we belong to the market leader group – regarding both amount of CHP units sold and MW of installed electric CHP power.
